In preparation to become a labor support for her sister, Sheila Tan discovered her passion and love for Doula work. Sheila has been a trained Birth Doula with CAPPA and Postpartum Doula with DONA International since early 2007. She is also trained and certified in variety of energy healing practices, such as Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, and Rising Star healing modality.
Sheila has worked with expecting couples and attended births since her training. As a Professional Labor Assistant, sheila nurturs the mother and listens to her needs. She brings with her compassion, a non-judgmental support and reassurance to the birthing space.Sheila is a DONA international member and been an active member of Doulas Association of Southern California (DASC).
